How to Set Up Clover Cash Drawer

Your brand new Clover Station Bundle includes the Clover Station, Clover Receipt Printer, and a Clover Cash Drawer. We will explain in this post how to connect the Clover Cash Drawer to the Clover Station.

Your package will include these items:

• Clover Station Cash Drawer
• Bill & Coin Tray
• Two keys
• RJ-11 6P6C cable (with blue label)

Connect the cables

1. Insert one end of the RJ-11 6P6C cable into the port located in the bottom of the Clover Cash Drawer. 
2. Turn the Clover Printer upside down and insert the other end of the blue-labeled RJ-11 6P6C cable into the left port (labeled with an image of a blue cable). 

Steps to test whether Clover Cash Drawer is successfully connected to the Clover Station:

1. Unlock and open the Clover Cash Drawer by inserting the cash drawer key and turning it all the way left.
2. Close the cash drawer by pushing it back in and remove the key. The key should be in an upright, vertical position.
3. Log in to your Clover Station and open the Register app. Open the cash drawer by tapping on the Open Cash Drawer button located at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap Other and type Testing as a reason for opening.
5. Tap Continue.

Your Clover Cash Drawer should now be open.
